Jessica has a clinical focus on working with individuals and families, from age 5 to 70 years, who have been impacted by trauma. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Southern California, with a focus on integrating psychology and sociology. Jessica’s focus was on learning about the different forms of trauma and how these impact the individual socially to neurobiology. Her clinical experience comes from community practice work, foster care, male youth in the juvenile justice system, and providing clinical services to children in the Clark County School District. Jessica has received specialized training in the treatment of trauma, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Sand Play Therapy, Expressive Art Therapy, and Mindfulness based treatments. She is an empathic and eclectic therapist, passionate about providing her clients with tailored holistic treatment approaches to meet them where they are and guide them on a path to healing. Jessica seeks to assist individuals and families with the needs they identify as important to them, by advocating and coaching to achieve success.
